Hollywood Caterpillar is a band that was originally founded by Eli Louis Recht-Appel as a solo project intended to fill the void between recording stints with San Francisco's very own clown car, Fowler. With time—and help from Lindsay Dobbs, Leo Grossman, and Paint Smith—Hollywood Caterpillar developed into a collaborative, Brooklyn-based ensemble with nothing to lose or win.
